Children sometimes struggle with their mental health. Common mental health issues for children include anxiety, depression, low self esteem, ADHD, OCD, and oppositional defiance. Other challenges include bullying, procrastination, disordered eating patterns, gender dysphoria, acute trauma and PTSD. These challenges can lead to problem behaviors such as school refusal, low grades, social withdrawal and persistent sadness which add stress to the whole family.
